Married : Kate & Rob : Bohemian-Inspired Woodland Wedding

It brings me an exceptional amount of pleasure to bring you what I believe is my absolute, most favorite wedding EVER. I had a great feeling about Kate & Rob from the instant I heard about them. Hallie from La Boheme Events got in touch with me seeking the perfect elements to create a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted-to-perfection celebration for her best girlfriend from high school. It just so happened Kate & Rob were getting married the Saturday after my own wedding, but I just KNEW in my gut how great this journey was going to be. So I postponed my honeymoon plans by a week and took it on (then again, we ended up buying a house and took a “crescent moon” instead, so things have a way of working themselves out).

From the moment we met in person, there was an incredible wave of graciousness and creativity; I couldn’t WAIT. Then, like the speed of light, it was here. Laden in bright oranges, reds and pinks, the fall wedding possessed an array of seasonal floral elements and bohemian-inspired decor. The ceremony took place inside the quaint 1700s-era Newtown Meeting House, right in the heart of the downtown of Kate’s Connecticut hometown. Following the simple and magnanimous celebration, the festivities proceeded to an outdoor reception at a private residence surrounded by woodland just on the outskirts of town.

K&R: I just hands down love you guys. And your fabulous family, too. You are such warm, thoughtful, kind-spirited beings – the world needs more people just like you. It was such an honor to be there and part of it all. All my best in your life, love and all you endeavor.
