  • Five stars does not even touch my opinion of Jessica at Brigham & Co. Photography!!!!!!!! Not only is she an amazing, sweet and sincere person, her talent blew me away from the very beginning. We found Jessica through a friend who had went to college with her. I took a brief glimpse at her work and it was exactly what we wanted – vintage-feel, artful and sweet, not posed and contrived. We took a trip up to Jessica’s Connecticut home to meet her and we spent a few hours getting to know each other, and talking about the vision of what we wanted our wedding day to feel like. Plus, she had a beautiful spread of snacks and mimosas waiting for us! This in itself blew me away, because she took the time to get to know us and understand exactly what we wanted out of our wedding day. Most wedding photographers you find will meet with you for a half hour, discuss pricing, how many hours they will shoot, how many pictures they will deliver to you and when ... Jessica provided us with so much more from the start, and genuinely wanted our wedding day to be what we wanted, even if that meant being non-traditional and out of the box – she was up for anything and offered so much great advice!! The day of our wedding could not have went more smoothly and she had a large part in that. She kept me calm all day and I honestly didn't even notice she was following me around with a camera for 10 hours!! She caught the sweetest moments of our wedding day, without us ever feeling like she was watching us. Fast forward to when we received our wedding photos ... We were floored by how perfectly they captured our day. They were perfect. She took a journalistic approach capturing candid moments and never missing an important shot. She even submitted our wedding to Style Me Pretty and we were featured (!!!) which speaks volumes about the beauty of her work. We are eternally grateful to her for capturing the best day of our life on film to cherish forever. Choosing Jessica was by far one of the best choices we made in planning our wedding!!!
  • I'd like to say the second I met Jessica I knew she was perfect for photographing our wedding, but I knew before meeting her because I adored her vintage-inspired style and her website. Recommended to me by our wedding planner, we made a date for cocktails and chit chat. We hit it off instantly and she made the whole experience more enjoyable than I knew possible. My husband and I were both quite nervous about being in front of a camera so we did an engagement shoot with Jessica. She made us feel at home being in the spotlight. It was such a fun day with lots of laughs and adventures; we will never forget it. By the time the wedding came around (Late August Lace Factory), she was as important to us as any of our guests. Our photos will forever be cherished even more now because a dear friend is the one that captured these moments. Jessica also did our thank you cards and gave us several different options (so difficult to choose, all so amazing). The compliments are still rolling in. She goes above and beyond what her contract calls for. Her stationary, little notes, stunning handwriting, all make my heart melt. She has a real eye for this industry and has talents that far exceed just her photography skills. You can tell by her personal style, her home decor and her new blog venture which we wish her the best of luck on. Jessica is someone that will succeed with whatever she does and I feel very blessed to have found her.
  • There is not a single thing that I would have changed about our experience with Jessica as our wedding photographer. She was, by far, the best investment we made among all our wedding expenses. Jessica's photography style and skills are in a category all their own. Her images make every person look like a fashion model and every landscape appear as a work of art. The comments we received from friends and family in response to our engagement and wedding photos included things like: “That looks like a photo from a magazine!” (we got that one a lot) and “She made you guys look like supermodels!” They are without a doubt the best wedding photos I could have possibly asked for! Jessica's photos were not only amazing, but we received all of them REALLY quickly - way sooner than we would have expected. It was a matter of weeks, not months, before we were looking at photos from our engagement shoot and wedding day. In regards to her professionalism, she exceeded our expectations by a landslide. Our very first consultation was met with fresh baked goods and wine and cheese (she spoiled us!!). As time went on, she continued to show the upmost courtesy with phone calls and emails to verify exact times of the events, locations, as well as our other vendors information so that she was 'in the loop'. She arrived (punctually) to the venue before I did, and was ready to get going the moment I walked out of my car. I swear Jessica could have doubled as our wedding planner for the whole ordeal - she was WAY more organized than we were! For those of our family and friends that attended the wedding, they made note of either A.) how professional and timely she was or B.) that she was
  • We hired Jessica to photograph our wedding in July of 2014. She was amazing from the moment we met her. She definitely works very hard to get to know her clients and to understand them as a couple. Jessica has a very easygoing style about her, which paid off big time at the wedding as we were trying to wrangle people for the formal photos and people trying to tell her there's too much sunlight where we were, etc. She was the ultimate professional and so patient with everyone (myself included – I was hungry mid picture-taking). She worked very well with our videographer even though they only met the day of the wedding. When we returned home from our honeymoon I emailed her about newspaper pictures and she had a sampling sent to me by the end of the day. She also posts picture to a high resolution gallery which makes sharing easy. I would use her again in a heartbeat, no questions asked.
