Married : Eileen & Abe : Timeless and Classic Upstate NY Wedding

It was the ides of June, a rather steamy, sun-shiny day. Eileen and her girls readied in the comfort of home, collecting all the precious details before heading out for the big day. We ventured to Rock & Rye for the vintage-inspired upstate NY wedding. The venue was exclusive, hosting such fine occasions for only their esteemed tavern customers, Eileen and Abe surely one of them being ascribed for their love of good ol’ craftbrews and fanciful foods.

A couture Fancy Bridal NY gown, Eileen donned the ultimate vintage-inspired classic, a silk tea-length wedding dress accented with a royal blue sash cut to the preferred length once in place. Mama’s iconic string of pearls graced her gown’s boat neck, and one of my favorite all-time wedding details, royal blue embroidered velvet pumps sealed the deal. It was exquisite.

This DIY wedding was tweaked to perfection from top to bottom: from the 1950’s era dress; to the Eileen’s elegantly-designed wedding invitation suite; to the engraved mason jars glasses for their craftbrew-loving bridal party; and to the hand-selected rustic details gracing the reception. It was thoughtful. It was lovely. It was full of grace.

Eileen and Abe: I am honored to call you both my friends. I’m humbled to have partaken in such a fine occasion as yours, making lasting memories with new faces, old friends and your lovely family. Here’s to your love, life and all you both endeavor. Cheers to you. Let’s share a great beer soon. 🙂

xoxo,
Jessica
